Doll Face Pups — Stud Service Agreement
This Stud Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on the date of digital execution by and between Doll Face Pups, an AKC-registered Yorkshire Terrier & Biewer Terrier breeder located in Heber City, Utah and serving the greater Salt Lake City area ("Breeder"), and the dam owner identified above ("Owner"). Together, the parties agree to the following:
1. Stud Identification. The stud dog covered by this Agreement is identified above (e.g., Luca, Biewer Terrier). Each stud is AKC registered, Embark DNA health tested, and selected from champion bloodlines.
2. Stud Fee. The stud fee for Luca is $1,000 USD, due in full prior to or on the day of the first breeding. The stud fee is non-refundable once any breeding (natural cover, AI, or surgical AI) has taken place. Fees may be paid via Stripe, Venmo, or other approved method.
3. Dam Health Requirements. The Owner warrants that the dam: (a) is current on all core vaccinations including rabies; (b) is current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention; (c) has a current well-check exam by a licensed veterinarian within the past 60 days; (d) has tested NEGATIVE for canine brucellosis within 30 days of the breeding window (Owner must provide written proof prior to breeding); and (e) is free of any communicable disease.
4. Dam Eligibility. The dam must be between 18 months and 6 years of age, in good reproductive health, and have completed at least one prior heat cycle. Maiden bitches over the age of 4 are accepted at Breeder's sole discretion.
5. AKC & Genetic Testing. AKC-registered dams strongly preferred. Owner is encouraged to provide Embark or comparable DNA panel results so Breeder can confirm responsible color & genetic-health pairing.
6. Breeding Method. Owner selects natural cover, AI, or surgical AI. Surgical-AI procedures are performed at Breeder's chosen reproductive veterinarian, with all medical costs paid by Owner in addition to the stud fee. Breeder may recommend a different method if reasonable.
7. Breeding Window. Breeder will perform up to three (3) live breedings within a single heat cycle, timed to optimal progesterone readings or behavioral signs as determined by Breeder. Owner is responsible for transporting the dam to and from Breeder's location during the active breeding window.
8. Transportation, Travel & Boarding. Owner pays all transportation, travel, and boarding costs for the dam. If overnight boarding is required at Breeder's premises, a daily boarding fee may apply and will be quoted in advance.
9. Proof of Conception & Re-Breeding Guarantee. If the dam fails to conceive AND a confirmed ultrasound or blood-progesterone failure is documented by a licensed veterinarian within 30 days post-breeding, Breeder offers one (1) complimentary re-breeding at the dam's next heat cycle at no additional stud fee. Owner remains responsible for all travel and veterinary costs. This guarantee expires if the re-breeding is not used within 12 months of the original breeding.
10. No Live-Puppy Guarantee. Breeder makes no guarantee regarding the size of the litter, the sex distribution, the color or markings of any puppies produced, or the health and longevity of the puppies. Breeder is not responsible for any complications during pregnancy, whelping, or post-natal recovery.
11. Ownership & AKC Litter Registration. All puppies produced from this breeding are the sole property of the Owner. Breeder retains no pick-of-the-litter, stud puppy, or financial share of the puppy sales. Upon notification of a live whelp, Breeder will promptly sign and return the AKC Sire's portion of the litter registration application.
12. Marketing & Photography. Breeder may use photographs and video of the puppies produced from this breeding (where supplied by Owner) for marketing the stud's pedigree on Breeder's website and social media, with attribution to Owner where appropriate.
13. Limitation of Liability. Breeder is not liable for any injury, illness, or death of the dam while traveling to, from, or staying at Breeder's premises, except in cases of gross negligence by Breeder. Owner indemnifies and holds Breeder harmless for any property damage or third-party injury caused by the dam while in Owner's care.
14. Confidentiality. Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during this arrangement, including financial terms, pedigree details, and breeding protocols.
15. Governing Law & Disputes. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith mediation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration in Wasatch County, Utah. The prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorney's fees and costs.
16. Entire Agreement & Severability. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force and effect.
17. Acknowledgment. By submitting electronically with Owner's typed name as digital signature, Owner affirms that Owner has read and understood every provision, agrees to be bound by all terms, is at least 18 years of age, and that all information provided is true and accurate.
